Taxes  Reply with quote

Hey all,

I just finished reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and he talks a lot about how taxes are the largest expense for most people. Could someone please explain taxes to me and/or tell me where I can find more information on taxes? (I know basics... sort of)

Thanks,

Yes most people pay around 1/3 of there income to taxes.... You don't have to file taxes if you make under 5000 a year(i think thats right)??? Usually you will want to do up the numbers to see if you will get money back as usually you will then file. If you owe and made under 5000 dont file Smile

You might try the IRS web site for basic information on taxes (www.irs.gov). They have a ton of information on taxes if you're willing to dig around a little.

If you have a specific question, post it on the board and we'll do what we can to answer it.

Hope this helps -
