Hi Guys,
I have recently purchased a property in Spain and would like to share with you how I have managed to get one free mortgage payment per year.
This is not rocket science and if this has been mentioned before, I appologise.
I make a wire payment of 950 pounds per month costing 25 pounds and 10 euros to receive. 6 months ago I changed to an online payment platform (take a look at my signature) which when compared to my banks fees and spread on currency meant I could save 252 per year on payment fees and save 350 + on the better ex rate offered.
Admitedly its not a full monthly saving but it proves that if you are slick with the way you make your international payments you really can find a good deal.

Where in Spain did you purchase your house? I travel there often.
I'm lost at what you did, please explain more. I think that you might be confused and that it's only the first year, becuase of the way closing works out. Also by skipping a month, it wouldn't put anything towards principle, but then again you are saving intrest on that month.
