I have seen a lot of posts on this Forum recently from cheerleaders in the 12DailyPro ponzi scheme.
Well, it finally happened:

Figures.
StormPay has frozen the accounts for 12DP.
quote:
Here's Storm Pay's explanation:
"Investigations by both Storm Pay and other outside investigational organizations and law enforcement agencies have drawn early conclusions that these types of programs are nothing more than well hidden ponzi or pyramid schemes."
Well hidden?
Just just goes to show that StormPay will allow any kind of funky stuff to go on, until they start catching heat.
Okay so who will admit that they lost money in this program, and how much?!?
I guess we will start having to crackdown on promotion of these inane programs.

there was an anonymous source indicating that 12DP had over $400 million in their SP accounts.... now that their accounts are frozen, god knows when they'll make payments....
might soon be heading for a collapse....

I was beginning to wonder about 12DP as all of the cheerleaders and recruiters had stopped their bragging about the thousands of dollars they were receiving a week or more before the Storm Pay action.
Of course it would be unethical to continue recruiting if you weren't being paid on your account.
I'm only surprised that the scheme lasted as long as it did. Most Ponzis rely on anonimity which is why they depend on the early participants to do the recruiting for them. Can't have the FTC and SEC investigating them even before they get their first million in profits.

I ve only used 12dp for a few months now, always making small upgardes of $6, yet they did pay.
I dont really know who is the bad guy here, if 12dp or stormpay. There is a lot to see among the days to come.
Yet i don't think its correct to start calling a "ponzi scheme" to this program yet,
since 99% of its members got payed, myself started only 2 months ago, with a $12 upgarde, and ended with $72 in profit. As far as I know, in most ponzi schemes, only 10% of people get actual profit, and the rest end up loosing money.
Yes, it might be a cover up from 12dp, or might be one from stormpay, but I believe we should all wait a few more days to see what happens to 12dp.
Only my opinion, lets hope for everyones sake, that the money is refunded.
PS: I didn't vote, since i had only 1 upgrade wich wasnt payed ($6 aint that much), but i m not sry i had it, cause the program gave me a good profit from my original investment.
PS: Andrew, if u decide not to allow this type of site promotions in the forum anymore, plz let me know(send me a pm if u can ), so I remove my signature, cause I don't want to brake the forum rulez. Altough I support those kind of sites, I like moneytalk a lot .

This whole thing is getting more and more confusing... It makes no sense to me that stormpay has frozen 12dp money, cause 12dp really gave stormpay a lot of profits when they decided not to use e-gold anymore.
I had some pending payouts at the time they stoped paying, but that was't big money, so I can remain calm and wait for good news ( or maybe bad ones...).

Interesting,
Whether or not 12DP is to blame or not, lies by Stormpay have already been verified as they are debiting accounts for several other programs, not just 12DP. My suggestion is to take money out of Stormpay before the surprise attack your linked bank or credit card account. They are is trouble, just check with the FTC and AG's office who had issued a cease & disist in TN against Stormpay, and they will trap everyone's money when all the complaints start rolling in as they are, so get your money out while you can.
Good luck to all, Mike

on a contrary, it makes helluva sense actually.... frauds and charge-backs are the many reasons StormPay pulled the plug. From my p.o.v, Stormpay's going the ways of PayPal. They no longer want any part of the auto-surfing and HYIP industry because people's been filing claims and so forth....
There are speculations that StormPay's going downhill running out of funds and now begin illegally charging credit cards and freezing accounts to save their ass off, but to what extend this speculation goes, I really have no idea...

When you invest in ponzis, only invest what you can afford to lose. A lot of people are upset because they invested what they couldn't afford to lose.

history repeats itself in just other ways. Hopefully those who got burned learned a lesson and it didn't cost them too much to learn that lesson and those who saw other people get burned learned a lesson also.
I remember about 10 or 15 years ago somebody called a family member of mine selling vitamins and told them something to the fact that they are basically giving away either a trip to Jamaica, a new car or 20 thousand dollars and every person is guranteed to win one of the following and all you have to do is buy the vitamins. My family member who's never been good at money purchased the vitamins and they sat in a box and what did they win...........nothing.
It's not exactly what was happening now, but you have to understand P/E. Price Earning ratio and what makes sense and it doesn't matter what pyramid or any scheme there is that if they aren't making the money something is going to happen.

Wasn't at all surprised to hear it. I heard it about a week ago on Clark Howard's radio show. I'm sorry for those that lost money. But lessons learned the hard way are the best lessons ... the ones that stick.
