Look. You haven't figured a thing out here, so let me explain it to you. I hate get-rich-quick schemes. I hate pyramid schemes. The latter are illegal and not allowed here. The former are allowed here, but with certain rules. Constantly, those rules are blatantly disregarded. I am the 'bad cop' and I think people who indulge in such schemes are lazy, irresponsible, and not worth anybody's time.
Adherence to the rules are more important to me than who you are, what you think, or what you feel. (heh, kinda like the Terminator) If I can deter a dozen pyramid posts by giving you a hard time, then I've done my job efficiently and I can go on about reading about the real, proven ways to grow money--which, obviously, you have not read anything past the get-rich-quick schemes, for you would know that I am neither ignorant, nor unintelligent. Also, you would know what my real emotional issues were rather than guessing with blanket statements, for I have mentioned them openly. (Hint: This 'miserable person' sees people as objects. Do you care what an object thinks of you? That negates your first theory, now doesn't it?)
Now quit posturing and doing the very thing your are condemning, acknowledge that you don't know everything, and come here to LEARN and SHARE so we can all PROFIT from it, because, that is MY purpose for being here, to gain knowledge and to share knowledge, not to be 'wanted' or whatever by John Q. Public.
One final thing: When someone calls you something unfavourable, you have a choice. Ouch, my opa once got robbed of 10K. He had a mistrust of banks so he had a ton of cash at home and when he went to see his dad in East Germany someone took his 10K.
He also got roped into a oil well limited partnership. They would sell a well and then say it was a nonperformer and then sell it to someone else.
An uncle of mine got a lawyer and much of that money was returned. Took years and years.
Overall he did well with his investments. Funny you hear more about losses sometimes then the wins.
He sold the same farm three times to developers. Even told them the guy before them couldn't get the developement through. But they all thought they could get it aproved. But when they didn't he would buy his farm back at a fraction of what they paid him for it:)
Probably should have let my opa buy me a farm. But I didn't want to take advantage of him like so many of my realatives.

They really don't work cause they depend on advertising. When the advertising money runs low, they turn to scamming (if not already a scam). And they cause a lot of spam to be posted around the Net. I've only seen one Get Paid to program work, but I won't talk about it here.

Yes, in the UK they call just about any plan a scheme, so this is a word which I do not think should be used without offending those from the UK. It has a negative meaning in US, but not elsewhere, so it can be confusing.

Hi All,
I don't know if my definition is correct. Pyramid scheme should be a scamming opportunity that don't have a genuine product to sell.
It also does not have a logical money making system such that those who join early make the most out of the expenses of those below. There is no chance for the downlines to make more money if they put in more afford to market the product.
Pyramid scheme actually targetted on the greed of individual to make lots of money at the shortest possible time. Either the system is scamming the advertising cost of the participating merchants or making enrolling customers in a money passing up game.
Correct me if I am wrong.
