Oil Tankers: Finished Tanking?  Reply with quote

I looked at some old favourites, Knightsbridge Tankers (VLCCF) and Nordic American Tanker Shipping (NAT), and wonder if now is a good time for bargain-buys prior to a good run-up. Thoughts?

Same goes for petrol compaines (Sunocco, Shell, Exxon, etc.)

ehehe...I was hoping you would have a means to somewhat reliably predict that.

M* predicts $2.80 EPS for 2006 and $2.02 for VLCCF.

The Tanker companies look like they are ready for a move (based on technical analysis). It took two months to get from the high of November 2005 to the present price. The Candlestick analysis show that the trend seems to be in the uptrend mode (higher highs and higher lows). If the pattern continues, it could break the resistance of the November 2005 highs, and take off from there (IMO).
Haven't looked at the other companies you suggested.
