I like to say that progess hasn't been made in vain and each invention has its purpose. Now I don't have to count my individual tax income manually. I just go to http://taxform.io/ , fill in the necessary form and the desired figure will be shown on my screen within a few seconds. Time's saved and time is money, as you know.

The current tax rate for social security is 6.2% for the employer and 6.2% for the employee, or 12.4% total. The current rate for Medicare is 1.45% for the employer and 1.45% for the employee, or 2.9% total. Combined, the FICA tax rate is 15.3% of the employees wages. $1,200 after tax is $1,200 NET salary (annually) based on 2022 tax year calculation. $1,200 after tax breaks down into $100.00 monthly, $23.00 weekly, $4.60 daily, $0.58 hourly NET salary if you're working 40 hours per week. The federal withholding tax has seven rates for 2021: 10%, 12%, 22%, 24%, 32%, 35%, and 37%. The federal withholding tax rate an employee owes depends on their income level and filing status. This all depends on whether you're filing as single, married jointly or married separately, or head of household.
