Are you a HENRY? [high earners, not rich yet]  Reply with quote

I was reading this article in Fortune magazine, and got to thinking about the
concept of larger treadmills and golden handcuffs for the sake of maintaining social control...

You'll get the metaphor when you read the article and view the video clip.

Look who pays for the bailout: Meet the HENRYs (high earners, not rich yet).
They make $250,000-plus and get taxed to high heaven. And they're about to get socked again.

Hey, I read that there is a way to get tax reduction.

Get a lawyer, spend $1000 with the lawyer and find out how you can get tax deduction for various spendings.

I have heard that people saving as much as $20,000 in tax savings.

Too many people did not know their tax rights, which they pay needlessly.

There is a great article here which gives tips on paying less tax - http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/money/tax/article2799446.ece

The article includes well known methods such as making charitable contributions to less well known ones such as saving tax on alternative investments such as wine or antiques. I found it very interesting not to mention helpful, have a look and see what you think
