Real estate is defined as property consisting of land and everything situated under it. The land part is pretty simple, think about owning a lot on a specific block or a plot on a specific field. But the "everything in it" part takes a little bit of explaining too.

Real Estate is an English legal term which describes Land and anything fixed or always attached to it. This usually includes buildings, but also fences, roads, sewers etc. :lol:
