I think odesk is the best website to work online but they take 10% for every contract which I think is way too much.

There are some authentic freelancing marketplace such as odesk, elance. I am working with both odesk and elance. It has been one of the most popular marketplace all over the world.

Hasn't it gone into Elance now? I think that it might have actually hurt some of the options that I have. I do like Elance though, I have had a really good working relationship there for almost five years now!

I haven't tried it but some of my friends have found work there. One writes articles and the other edits/makes graphics.

Upwork is good for freelancers, plus you get to work at home with good pay. I've worked there for almost a year
