Happy to find people who actually like to talk about finance  Reply with quote

Hi all,

My name is Ken, and I'm excited to be a member here. A couple of years ago - around when I turned 40 - I really started trying to learn everything I could about investing and personal finance. What I discovered is that I couldn't get any of my friends, family, or coworkers to discuss it very much. Like at work here, we all share the same offerings in our 401k plan, why wouldn't it be open for discussion? But people just don't like to divulge what they do. So, I'm happy to join this community and I've got lots of questions Smile

The government alphabet soup of retirement programs are not designed for Americans. They're designed for Uncle Sam.
