The U.S. Debt Crisis - Opportunities?  Reply with quote

Morning to you all.

So it looks like we may be on the brink of another financial recession. Gets me thinking, is this an opportunity to make money? deleted

How are you guys playing the market in the anticipation of such an event?

Signed,

Mo

I'm hoping the market continues to go down, so I can buy on sale.

Crisis boon or bane??  Reply with quote

This shut down does not have any major effect as most of the developing countries like India and china are providing supplies to private firm and basically government shut down cannot deep down its effect on private companies but one great point that can be achieved is is value of dollar can go down with respect to other currencies.Lets hope for the best.

Absolutely agree with Tony. I feel like it will come down to the decision made during this shutdown. The market has been a bit iffy lately however some firms are experiencing growth depending on what was reported on their Q3 statements

Believe it or not, allot of people who know how to play the stock market pray for recession because during times of recession the market conditions are perfect. If you are a trend trader you can catch the early trend and ride the ups and downs of the market all the way to the end. The fact is that more people were made millionaires during the great depression then any other time.
