I just joined-Hope this forum helps find an investor/s  Reply with quote

(If I understand the rules correctly)...I am looking to find help/contacts with private investors who would be interested in a participation project that helps kids with educational materials - its not for profit but the profit is something else...it probably sounds begging but it isnt...its a beautiful marine ecology project that needs equipment to the tune of 30K - it gets helped by members and volunteers as well as marine biologists and I would like to start this from Florida into the Caribbean....so if any one out there can help that would be grand. I have a web blog that I could give out and a project format...if anyone loves turtles, dolphins and colourfull marine life here is a great little investment in time and experience. Thanks to all or any that may help us get there. Smile

PabloTwo,

Why not just say hello first and tell us a little about yourself?

New to the site  Reply with quote

Hello thankyou for the reply - yes I am new to the site and simply posted what I am wanting to do and in the most sincere manner...of course its not easy on the interney with so many scams going down amongst a herd of other less that desireable activities.

I am a marine ecologist, scuba instructor marine photographer who is approaching retirement age as a very fit person with a serious desire to use my wealth of knowledge to help other young as well as older people enjoy the marine world on a more a la carte basis.

It would be too much here to provide a history of my experiences but they have been considerable and rewarding as much as dangerous and with losses...children in third world countries need education materials and initiation into the ecology of the world and my area is the marine environment.

For reasons of the local economy and the european political lie which is causing this scandalous rescession I am unable to do what I want because the money has dwindled ... edit ... so financing my project has become difficult.

edit

So I am here in the hope that I might make contacts and leads to potential interested parties with a view to getting the project under way ... edit ... and see some results towards helping kids in need of educational materials.

I hope this serves to know a little of me and that it might stir some interest ... edit ... Trust I have not used any offensive forum forbidden words. Most Kindly Pablotwo

Getting there...  Reply with quote

Thats very gracious of you - I guess a little more wrist slapping is needed to stop me from saying wrong things in order that I might get to speak with those that might like what I have been attempting to say without incurring the wrath of the site guardians....who probably have better things to do than run round after miscreants such as I.

Well we will just have to see - by the way if I do find someone or more I will be sure to let you know - at least courtesy stays the course. Well thankyou and here's to the waiting time. Pablotwo

Well nothing seems to be happening much on this issue - perhaps this is not a forum for people who want to do interesting things - still with whats about to come up from the MEF in Davos and the big scam on AGW, could be that everyone is going to hang on to what they have. Since nobody is really asking me about what Im doing that could be so interesting I will probably just move along and leave you to it...there is an interesting article on Veterans Today site by Satre - well worth a read for those investing big sums in renewables....meanwhile have a nice day

Hope is probably the most overused and under analyzed word and emotion. why do we need it though? When every time, it seems that things go worse with a kind of scientific precision, and never take the same path uphill.

Hope is a mix of anger and courage...one can interpret anger which way you prefer either subjectively or objectively - as far as courage goes, that is relative to the issue in question and can also be just the guts to get up and say it how it is...there are those that love to wield their little "willy powers" of how one must comport on forums....always those that sit in judgement upon others without a clue as to how to judge but certainly being imperitive is but a common languor.

I came here looking for like-minded or even bored-with life people who could fancy some adventure and do-gooding with disposal funds...well seems like here aint the place. no sweat....I think the place has set the tone before any adventurous person bothered to find out anything...hi-ho-hi-ho its home from work we go....
